Talking Insulin plan: where do you ge your sugar from...

    Hey guys,
I'm currently starting a test cycle (low dose for other reasons) and i would like to throw in some insulin. I've been reasearching and asking some friends about it and my question is what do you guys use to get your dextrose? I understand you need about 10g of dextrose for every 1iu and i will starting off about 4iu.

Do most just buy a bag of dextrose or use other supplements like Vitagro? I was thinking of just picking up a bag of dextrose online which seems way cheaper compared to Vitagro would quite a few more servings to get the approiate amount of sugar. I know it's preference just looking at my options

    Here's my plan

    Pre workout

    Eat meal

30mins Amplify 02 or NO Shotgun

Workout and get my butt home

Humalog (as soon as i get home which is like 5 or 10 mins)

5-15mins after take my dextrose shake (10g per IU)
    10g L-Glutamine
10g of Creatine (maybe cce or just plan monohydrate)

5-10 mins after whey protien shake 70g

45mins eat meal of Chicken breast and brown rice and black beans

60mins another meal same as above

I'm going to have some D50 or glucose gel at home just in case my glucose drops below 80 or i get the shakes

Anything i'm missing? What gains or results so i get by adding Slin?

    thanks in advance guys

You're better of buying a bag of dextrose, it's pretty cheap these days and you should be able pick some up at your local grocery store.

As for your insulin dose, idealy you should have that immidietly PWO. I take my slin to gym and have a shot in the toilets. But if you're house isn't too far from gym then having a shot when you get home is ok too.

You should be taking your dextrose, glutamine creatine and any other supplments immidietly post injection, then have your protein shake about 15min after that.

I part my meals so they are 1hr apart, but I suppose 45min would be fine as well.

Having some glucose on you while insulin is active is a good idea.

Expected gains from insulin shouldn't be much, but if used properly it will boost your recovery process.

    All the best.

Why is it that some site list you need 10g of carbs per IU and some say 10g dextrose per IU?

Vitagro has a shitload of carbs but not much sugar.

As for results i hear you feel "fuller" and keep your gains pretty well if your "coming off"

Maybe I might wait once I'm off the cycle and add something else?

I would like to get some real IGF LR3 but my friends and have I have tried some from these reasearch companies and my guess is their fake! We felt nothing

Carbs and sugars is the same thing, so when we say "carbs" when using insulin, we mean sugar (dextrose in this case). There are different types of carbohydrates. Some get digested faster than others. Complex carbs usually take longer to digest and simple carbs are fast acting. Dextrose is a simple carbs and considering fast acting nutrients are beneficial PWO dextrose would be a good idea around this time.

So 10g of carbs = 10g of dextrose (or any other simple sugars).

As for results, everyone is different. Some feel fuller, some say it helps them keep their gains some don't like it at all. It really depends on the user as everyone is different.

As for the IGF1LR3 case, I can't comment on that as I don't know excatly what you did. If you give me some more info, I might be able to give you more of an accurate answer.

    Good luck.

Thanks Gear for the reply! I understand the complex simple carb but that's not always the case when it comes to some supplements because some labels i read have for example 100g of carbs and only about 29 sugars mainly maltodextrin. So where is the rest of the carbs coming from?

I guess i'll give the dextrose bag a try instead of getting a "carb" loaded supplement.

As for the IGF I took a well known research lab IGF LR3 and took it for about a month at 80mcg every day. I felt absolutely nothing. I believe most of this research lab stuff is bunk.

    thanks again
