    Hi,

I Just did a bloodtest and my doc tell me that i'm maybe diabetes! Not sure but i'll know this week. I just wanna know if any of you are in the same situation and if they can use aas and if supplement like proteine and creatine, arginine, etc... is there anything that i'll be enable to continu? Is there any drastic change in everyday life? I'm always eating good so it don''t scare me to have a chek in my diet.

Kind of similar. I have insulin resistance. The main question is are you a type 1 or type 2? If you are a type 2 the only difference is going to be diet. You will need less carbs to bulk. You will also have to cut them very low to cut. You will need metformin too. Other than that, no difference. Well, of course you wouldn't want to use insulin, but I'm sure you could have guessed that.

If you are a type 1, you are just going to have to keep an eye on your blood sugar levels even more closely. You will need to know how the different diets effect you and adjust your insulin usage accordingly. Also a lot of type 1's are temped to use their condition to aid in body composition. Don't do that. It is potentially very dangerous.

But same rules for steroids apply. No roids for fatties! and you need to have a good solid base of muscle mass too just like everyone else.

hey thx bro i'm feeling better. I don,t know what type... i'm going to bathroom like ten times a day and 3 or 4 time in the night...i thought it was because i drink lot of water but it seem to be a lot too often for a 24 years old male. so i just go chek out doc and he tell me that it can be diabetes...just done a bloodtest and i'll« know soon. Iwas planning my next cycle so do you think it could be better to just let thos roid for now?

Steph, do you have a family history of diabetes? Also, if you are in your 20's you probably have type 2. if you even have it at all

Also, just because your glucose numbers came back high one time, does not necessarily mean you have diabetes. Your doc should request blood work for your A1C levels, this will be a much better indicator

Your bodyfat says type 1 but your age says type 2. However it is possible you have had it for some time. If the frequent urination has been going on for a long time. I have heard of people being in their 20's before they discover they are type 1. What you have to find out is, do you have a problem with the pancreas where it produces little or no insulin. Usually caused by the body defenses attacking the pancreas. Or is the pancreas fine, but your insulin sensitivity is so low that you need massive amounts of insulin for any amount of blood glucose and you are now producing as much as you can, but it is no longer enough. Your doctor should tell you about this. That is going to determine if you need a special diet and metformin, or if you need insulin injections.

Then of course there is also the possibility that the blood test will come back negative. In that case, it probably is from drinking a lot, having very efficient kidneys and maybe a little overactive bladder as well.

I have the same issue, and it is from my fluid intake and fast kidneys.

Unless you already have the results, don't sweat it yet. I drink a lot and am always thirsty. I get up several times a night to pee and I have been tested for diabetes and it determined I was healthy as a horse (or ox )

That's not good. So does your pancreas make very little insulin, or is your sensitivity so bad that it is producing a lot of insulin but still can't keep up? That's kind of important so you know if you are going to end up needing insulin, or if you can change your diet and take metformin. Did your doctor explain it any better? Have you been monitoring your blood sugar?

My glucose levels came back high once, my PC was concerned and ordered more blood to look at my A1C, that was normal, so end of story!

Sometimes if you dont fast correctly, this could affect the initial bloodwork!

yea it should be at least 10 hours since you have had anything to eat or drink other than water. If your glucose is just a little high, ou can probably jut clean up your diet a little.

i dont know, thats what the doc told me, that my pancreas isnt producing enough insulin.
i had to change my diet but that hasnt helped much.
i am also on a medication that causes diabetes which i am cycling down now and will be off in a few months.
    ill see what happens.

Well get some metformin, eliminate any refined carbs and cut your carbs in general. Then monitor your blood sugar and see what that does for you. With any luck you can treat it that way and not need insulin. What medication are you on?

He just notice that my blood pressur was a lil higher than normale because i'm using arginine(naNOX9 by muscletech, well supplements but i'm not gon elaborated as it's not the board to) buty anyway thx for all the help!

Yea, noobs can't PM. Just keep in mind that there is a big difference between type 1 and 2. So that is important background information when asking a question about it.
