    Need some inches help!!!

    Hi everybody,

    I'm new here and asking for some help to you guys for adding some inches to mu f***ing arms. They don't wont to grow...
    I've tried to change a lot of train schedules and combo for my bi and triceps since today and while on gears i've seen results mostly on other parts of my body...
    Actually i'm trying that Synthol with some local inj. (I really know that isn't the right thing to do but at this point I'm almost hopeless...) but I haven't seen so much progress after 5 weeks at 3ml x arm/week.
    I've been training for 4 years and natural since april 2007 and my arms are only 16". Now I would appreciate any help from you guys out there to make my weapons grow up!!!

    try training different. i train bi's 2 times a week. one day in the beg of the week very heavy and then again later in the week lightweight and very high reps to get a good pump and shape. mine were stubborn at first but now i see growth and shape... good luck!

    Thank you Roid I'll try to follow your way for bi but I think triceps are my major fault...

    well tris are 2/3 of the arm, so id recommend doing close grip benches, skull crushers and mixup heavy movements with lighter ones. obviously close grip bench should be heavier. it worked well for me.

    id leave the synthol alone aswel mate! unless you want your arms to look ugly and miss shapen

    Synthol will not do that if used correctly.

    haha yeah thats #7 from slipknot, I love them. I have #4 on my left shoulder.

    any other questions?

    I just realized your a little bigger than you look. You suck at posing (no offense) its just that makes u look smaller. when you do a back double bi, You have to squeeze ur shoulder blades together, while making sure your lats are fired, and arms are up and rolled back at the shoulder joint to expose them and not let them roll forward. That might have made zero sense though.

    Sure, my diet isn't the best one, but I'm quite sure my arms problem could be caused by wrong training, not by diet generally...
    But I often ask me if the amount of protein intake in my diet is high enough...
    I read a lot on diets and other stuff and people have to say different things about that...actually mine is 1.5gr/pound of bw.

    kid i have tried everything for my bi's..wouldnt grow...got locked up and started doing pull ups...my arms exploded...now i just do 10x15 pull/chin everyday and my arms r bigger than they were with weights...but peoples bodies react differently to different things..heavy dips with strict form will get ur tri's right....bi's r a small muscle group...some rest and dont go crazy with sets....compound movments also...deads..pull ups..hope this helps

    my best advice is this.
    depending on what your doing, you might need to cut arm volume down. bi's and tri's are small muscles. I see people doing 10 sets each its rediculous, 5 is plenty IMHO.
    One week go HEAVY with arm training, like 3-5 reps per set. dont cheat necessarily but get those damn weights up!
    next week go light. 8-12 range, lower your wrists down slightly, this will take tension off your forearms and put more stress on your bi's.
    also mixup the exercises. I would do 2 or 3 max each workout, and alternate each week. theres a ton. Barbell curls, preacher and spider curls, dumbell curls, concentration curls, hi cable single arm curls, using the other variations using the cable, close grip bench will work wonders, skull crushers, (however i prefer arms out skull crushers. less pressure on the elbow joint.) and some cable work for the tris also. Id recommend keeping it mainly weights though.

    another good post. I completely agree. What worked for me was going with the narrow and palms facing inward grip for pullups, and WOW did it make my bis sore and bigger. also correct about the compound movements, id say bent over rows are much better for bis than deadlifts though.

    Just yesterday I've started a new training schedule attempt:
    1st week - low reps heavy loads
    2nd week - high reps med loads
    3rd week - supersets
    I'll keep you advised of my results.

    In my own personal experience people who are having trouble with their arms growing are overtraining them. Good advice on this thread, bring the work load WAY down and bring the quality WAY up. Most bodybuilders will tell you that they probably work biceps less than any other muscle group. I also tend to think that triceps are more important to your overall appearance than biceps, so really make mind muscle connections and pound them.
