    need to bulk

    New to the site and think it's awesome. Just got back in the gym after a 2 year layoff. Been active though, via construction trade. Used fina in the past but want to add strength and size before hitting fina again. Also have used test and dbol but didn't really blow up.
    I'm currently 39 yrs. old and at 232 lbs. Don't know bodyfat % but would estimate at 18-20. Kept a lot of size due to the fina use(or overuse), just not close to being as strong as once was.
    Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

    at them stats you seem prity big already i would try and cut the fat down to around 12% with a good diet and some intense cardiowith some modarate lifting then hit the hard lifting and think about doing a bulking cycle .

    thats what i would do

    what are your goals would you want to be 260lbs @ 20% or 220 @ 12%?

    How is your Diet and how long have you actually been back to the gym?? And if I was you man... get those two things in check and just use some Test just to get your body use to it all again... maybe some Drol !!!

    That of course is only after you have dropped your BF % not by much just a lil... but yah... that's my opinion.. I am sure others will have more and different stuff to say. Oh and make sure as always before you start any cycle you have all your PCT !! It's a MUST!!

    Thanks. Yea i do. Love fina but it's a lot to go through. Was injecting 1.5 cc's every other day to get the desired results. I'll go back to it eventually but wanted to get my feet wet(er).

    Hobbs, Welcome aboard. I think that nowdenlid asks a legit question in wanting to knwo your goals. 260lbs@ 20% or 220lbs @ 12%. Either way though I think that you are gonna want to check your diet and add some cardio in. A test only cycle may do what you are looking for.

    Hate f##### cardio. Diets good and been in the gym for 3 months and my body reacted quickly to my surprise. Looking to start cycle in about 6 to 8 weeks maybe. No big rush, just anxious i guess. By the way, what is PCT?

    Would like to eventually get back to 210-215. Tops. Was very comfortable at that weight but it did involve a strict diet and cardio. Construction has worn on my knees and ankles and the layoff didn't help. I get on the bike occasionally to minimize the stress.
    Never really kept up with actual bodyfat % but to give you some idea(maybe, i hope), i was 215 w/ 32 inch waist, wearing 50/52 size shirts. I was cool w/that and can't wait to get back.

    Yeah I hate cardio too but the older i get the more I need it. My body used to burn fat if I sat on the couch but as I get older the less and less it does. PCT is post cycle therapy. It is a very important part of any cycle. There is a whole forum on it back at the home page. There are very well educated people that will help you out with your pct as it is not my strong suit what so ever.

    dude how did u run tren with out knowing what PCT is? i would head straight to the PCT section bro! check it out! PCT is more important than anything!

    OK, yea, i'm familiar with it but not the abbreviations. Taking notes on those. Used clomid then creatine and super high reps when coming off. Did s### like sets of 50 or 100 in some cases just to keep the blood flowing good. Loved the pump from it. I'm currently doing something similar now. Like last night did 5 sets of 40 on incline, similar bench and decline. Ended session with pec deck and tri's. Does that count towards cardio? Just kidding.
