I'm not sure what you mean by best-best tasting? best value? best nutritional info?
Anyway I just get plain old canned tuna in water, after a bazillion cans it all tastes the same.
best nutritionally
albacore taste better to me and
I think the protein is a little higher as well.
jinx, your avatar is fantastic...
but tuna, is tuna, is tuna... like getbigger said... after so many cans, it's all basically the same. Nutrionally, you'll probably find very little difference in all of them.
I'll agree with Jinx. I only eat solid white albacore. Just add a little Louisiana hot sauce and its good to go.
Albacore has a ton more mercury than regular tuna... I like Chicken of The Sea its like .55/can
all they sell around here is albacore very rarely do they ever have the real tuna..but it all tastes the same to me....55 cents a can? man the cheapest i can find is a buck a can
In england you can get tinned tuna flakes (180g) from Sainsburys for 33p.

According to the FDA, we shouldn't be eating more than 6 oz of tuna per week.

Albacore is probably the worst type of fish one can eat. I prefer other type of Tuna or eat Tilapia.
what about canned salmon?? i just bought some today
FYI, for those interested in the type of fish and their mercury content.
