    anybody from the us

live in the orient (korea, phillippines, thailand etc. ). I know kale does. Wife is korean and is wanting to make the Big move. She tells me there is money to be made and alot more than I currently make. Just wonderring how hard is it to adapt and is it hard to get gear etc. and anything else i could use. I know it's alot more "americanized" than when I was over last 1994.

USA isnt the best choice you can move to right now. If one MUST go to a similar country, try Canada or the UK instead.

    Anyways, good luck.

I'm born and raised in the U.S. (California) and I love it. You want the beach? Go to the beach... You want mountains and forests? Go to the mountains and forests... Desert? Drive for about an hour and you're there! Everything you could want is close by and the weather is great... Now I know this is California but still, The U.S. has something to offer for anyone... Not to mention we're the most powerful country on the planet so it not being a good idea to move here is just freakin' ridiculous.

Do you really love the lamp or are you just saying that because you saw it?

Yeah CA is pretty and the weather is nice, but there's a lot of bad too. It's very crowded in the cities and quite expensive to buy a home.
