I have had a popping sound in my wrist area when I lift dumb bells it does not hurt but just wondering what this may be. Has any one else heard of this?

ya buddy you've injured the ligaments in your wrist and now they're a little bit hypermobile. That's why your wrist "pops." Google search "ligament laxity." The reason it doesn't hurt right now is because there's no inflammation. If you go to a doctor about it, they will prescribe you anti-inflammatories--DON'T TAKE THEM! They will do nothing to fix your wrist. They will only damage your wrist even more in the long run and will do little, if anything, for the pain.
I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it begins to hurt. Keep your diet clean and watch your digestion. It will begin to hurt like a mofo if your digestion goes haywire and you have systemic inflammation.
Stay healthy and it might heal itself in a few years. Otherwise the only treatment for it is "prolotherapy." Just make sure you find a good doctor because most people doing the treatment have no idea what they are doing.

Thanks for your response. It does not hurt and hope that it never starts too.
