Thread: Suggestions for mild cycle?

    Smile Suggestions for mild cycle?

I'm new on here and done some reading plus skimmed through the all the rules. I'm 22, 6'4, 195 lbs all natural, 12% body fat with a solid diet and 6 day per week lifting regiment and been going strong with that for a year.

My question is, in your opinion, in terms of anabolics that you could buy at a local GNC or vitamin shoppe, what would be a good start? Money is no problem.

Thank you for all your constructive ideas and thoughts.

anabolics from GNC? I haven't been to a GNC in years, but they didn't sell anabolics back then.

My apologies if my termonology was incorrect...I guess what I meant by anabolics was something I could take to boost muscle growth and strength.

At 6'4" and 195 you could gain a great deal more with a proper diet.

You should review your routine, 6 days a week doesn't allow enough recovery time, you don't grow in the gym. Also look into a good protein powder, creatine, and maybe a nitric oxide product.

    Here it is....

    Sun...tris
    mon...legs
    tue...chest
    wed..bis
    thur...shoulders
    fri...rest
    sat...back

Should I be grouping these muscle groups together and go every other day?

I like to group pushing exercises on one day, chest and tri's. For instance bench presses use both chest and tri's, so it's a natural combination. I like to group pulling exercises, back and bi's together, same principal, pullups and cable pulls use both back and bi's, etc.

Thanks alot...I see this routine commonly in the gym. Maybe it will work for me and I know it will free up some time for rest. What are your thoughts on a-bomb?

do you mean anadrol or a supplement? To be honest I'm not up on most supplements.

Not sure how long you've been lifting but a couple good supplements to try from GNC or any Vitamin Shop would be a quality protein powder, a multi vitamin (GNC's megaman is actually alright) and maybe some creatine monohydrate. Also your routine needs a little bit of a tweak. Try this:
    Back and Bis
    Chest and Tris
    Legs
    Shoulders and Abs
Something along those lines with rest inbetween.
The 6 days a week is way too much without rest. As Ima******ger said you grow outside the gym when your resting, not in the gym. Your body needs time to recoup and repair muscle fibers. Try a 4 or even a 3 day split.

Also, a friend of mine used A-Bomb and liked it. I myself have never used it.

Thanks very much NewlyDesigned...I've been working solid for about a year...when you say three or four day split are you saying something like this...

    sun...back bis
    mon...chest tris
    tue...rest
    wed...rest
    thur...rest
    fri...shoulders abs
    sat...legs

I was thinking more along the lines of:
    Mon: back bis
    Tues: Chest Tris
    Wed: Rest
    Thurs: Rest
    Fri: Legs
    Sat: Shoulders Abs
    Sunday:Rest
You can research it by doing a search either on google or on this forum. Just type in Workout Splits or something like that. There are millions of different ways of doing a split, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. You just have to experiment and find what your body responds best to.
Example- I use to do a 5 day split when i first started with really high rep range, i now do a low rep range and a 4 day split. I find my body gets more out of that.

FOOD IS YOUR BEST FRIEND! Go take a look at the diet section and try to get your diet on point first. Youll be amazed how much size you can gain from doing this.
