i have been reading around and some people say that they have a protein shake right before bed..and it keeps them anti-catabolic why they sleep..but this confuses me when trying to lose weight because wouldnt all those carbs get stored as fat since youre not burning them off and a shake actually hits your system in about 20 minutes..?
I just need someone to clear this up for me because i often find myself hungry before bed and i dont know what to do..because i dont want to be working hard all day losing weight and then eat or drink something right before bed and ruin the whole thing..
and if i shouldnt take protein..what can i have?
