filling multiple scripts

Need advice! My hrt doctor prescribed me a 6 mo. prescription of test cyp. 400 mg. wk. My regular doctor prescribed me a 50 ml. bottle for 6 mo. I filled the reg. doctors prescription, recieved 5 10ml. bottles and paid cash. How do I go about filling my hrt docs prescription? Should I use insurance? How well do docs and pharmacists communicate? Who else is watching ex. dea, fda, state agencies? Has anyone tried this? Or should I just not try this?

I have two prescriptions from two different docs. My HRT specialist makes up for the lack-of testosterone that I get from my primary. Anything is possible, but truthfully, nobody is probably watching anything that closely and going to notice a prescription discrepancy with one patient out of thousands.

Also, am I reading it right ... 400mg/wk? What doctor out there prescribes that much?

dea watches yes they do....i wouldnt doctor shop too much bruthas...its too much of a price to pay

Sorry, but this one has got me a little confused. If one doc writes a prescription, and another writes a similar prescription, then basically you got two legal prescriptions. My HRT doc is fine with me getting 1/2 of what I need from my primary, and they said they will make up the other 1/2. And of course, my HRT team says they'll gladly do all of it if my primary flakes out and does something stupid like trying to put me back on AndroGel.

Anyway, don't club me on the head too hard if I'm not reading something right, but I thought this was basically just two legal prescriptions taking place. I could see the DEA taking notice on someone if they had 15 prescriptions, but maybe everyone is cracking down harder than I thought.

if you went to two or more different doctors and got more meds than u can use yourself at same or similar time and if they wanted to they could cause a stink....isnt that wut happened to poor rush limbaugh...

like u said u got a few rx's...doubt its gonna be a big deal...i just said be careful....to much stigma around roids trt or not

400 mg. weekly is correct! I have an hrt doc. and reg. doc. I have known them my entire life. Over the years I have mastered my blood tests. I first used androgel, then compounded creams, but these never elevated my test. levels enough. Finally I made it to Test. Cyp. and it has been great ever since. I am fortunate enough that my doctors listen to what I have to say and how I feel! Especially after reading what some people are going through!

I went to my primary care doc today to ask about deca, already on TRT and he refered me to an endo, so two different doctors prescibing, not unheard of......I wouldn't worry too much it's not like you'll have so much excess that you'll turn to the streets and start dealing? Right....

I also was prescribed 400mg a week and 300mg deca. Test levels started at 3.02 at week 12 had my blood work done again for the doc. and it was at 16.00... I love it...
