Thread: Anti-E's fuse growth plates?

  1. #1

    Question Anti-E's fuse growth plates?

"From what I've read estrogen is the main player in halting linear growth. Notice how all the steroids that don't stunt growth don't aromatize? It should also be noted that anti-e's (clomid, nolvadex, etc..) can stunt growth on thier own, b/c they bind to the ER."

Is this true? Would nolvadex prematurley stunt an adolesants growth plates?
    If so why?

Any knowledgable advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

nolvadex is an estrogen agonist, so yes it can cause premature closure of growth plates at least in theory. Search pubmed for a specific answer to clomid and nolva.

Use an aromatase inhibitor, which can DELAY closure of plates

Adolesants shouldnt use aas or any anti-e's. These are all powerful hormones and you can really screw yourself up if your too young.
