    Back from Hospital

    Well I got a infection and waited to long until practically my whole left hand was swollen. Its been 5 days and 21 Iv's later and im back. Just wanted everyone to know that shit happens and dont wait to long to go see a doc. If you think you got a infection then you most likely do. Doc told me that if I waited 2 more days I would have to have surgery. He told me people that wait to long have to get there limbs cut off so dont try to be a hero. I learned my lesson and hope you guys will learn from my mistake.

    I caught a MEAN staph infection last year. They had to remove my pacemaker (infection acts on a pacemaker just like it does an artificial joint). For around 8 weeks or so after I was released from the hospital,I had to wear a pump with a bag of Nafcillin attached to it. The whole thing ran through a PICC line into my right bicep.
    It was a total PITA to say the least.

    Did they determine where the infection originated from ( I'm assuming it was a cut on your hand?????) and what strain of bacteria it was?

    Haha, hope u feel better Lexed..

    I just had to deal with shingles for 2 weeks.. which is basically a viral infection.. prolly from a chest injection..

    but i'll play dumb, n say it was the chicken pox coming back at me OooooOO

    who knows.. dont know how it happened..

    but 2 crappy weeks.. where i had to stop the cycle, and give my body a rest..
    bigger than ever now tho..

    skin still a lil reddish on my chest, neck, n part of face.. like a sunburn, but its a lot better than before.

    The infection started with the tricep( where I did my injection) and speard all the way down to my lower forearm.
