I am not sure what he looked like two years ago, but I would certainly suggest cutting fat. If you are already carrying some fat, then bulking is just going to add to it. If you want to lose body fat, I do not like doing it after bulking up and making cardio less enjoyable. Also, he needs to get his diet in check and that will certainly add to what he is attempting to do while working out.

Its just my opinion, but I would bulk after working out how my diet will work in combination with my work outs. It seems something may be off if he has always been slender but simply cant lose the extra fat pounds. Good luck!

Thanks, His diet is off that is forsure, I tryed to help him out abit but the way he works out, He has time for one meal before cardio/ workout. and then after he can eat , he has about 8-9 different meals aday and he did say that he wasn't looking at the line up for carbs/fat/pro.

So I gave him a list of way to do it, but for him and his money it is hard to get it all in. he said he wants to eat all the time

foods he eats, fruit/tuna/chicken/porl/steak/fish/oatmeal/rice brown/ rice ceral/ protein shake/ and so on... but I think he has a problem with eating the right amount and he said he slides alot on weekends. By adding in cheats more then he should be.

He is picking up some clen and going to try really hard to follow diet and cardio, what can he lose in a month of clen

Well, if he has been doing what he has been doing for two years, that is about what he is going to get out of it. He already has proven his own experiment in that he now knows what he will look like doing what he is doing.
Now, if he wants to bulk he will have to eat more. If his diet is not on now, he is not going to be gaining muscle mass as much as water weight and fat weight. Then, when stopping his cycle, if he does one, we will be much heavier and have even more fat to contend with.
Even skinny guys look good when they have a little muscle and less fat. We all have to make these decisions ourselves, but do you want to work on whats wrong or simply improve something to hide what is wrong. Considering a bad diet will hurt either direction, I would suggest working on this first. The fact that he already goes to the gym leads me to think he should now work on the other areas such as diet to seek changes.
    Good Luck.

    What's your buddy's
    Height?
    Weight?
    Age?

I agree with Oki-Des he has been working out for 2 years, then definitely he needs to change his diet and/or his workout routine. But then again I don't know what he looked like before.

Then why doesnt he post on here with his questions. We have a lot of newer members who pose as their friends so they dont feel the ridicule of a their shortcomings.
