    New member of the family

meet Thibideaux, 8 week old Lab

When he's not causing havoc, he has a tendency to pass out for hours at a time, found him like this yesterday

He should have a big boxy head and weigh around 100-110# when mature, his mom and dad are big headed big bodied beautiful labs.

Your dog is so cute, but I am now disturbed by the video of a dog jumping onto the road.

hahah.. that's great, did he come with a 2x4 ?? those labs and shock collars were made for one another..

Will you be training him for hunt?? or is he a house hound??

He'll mainly be a pet, but he'll do some work as a gun dog, retrieving some ducks and dove, but no trials, hunt trial and field trial labs usually don't make great pets, too wired.

Our last lab was Boudreaux, named after my duck hunting buddy in Louisiana, so Boudreaux and Thibideaux go together like "peas and carrots" (google boudreaux and thibideaux jokes). It's pronounced "Tib o do" (accent the long o in do)

Add Boudreaux and it makes it even more interesting. You stating Louisiana explains everything because both names are french names. Yes, that is how you pronounce it.
