We all say i would kill a person if they did something horrible to a family mememer of yours. But do you think you would or could. Do you think you could follow them home or kick in their door and do it? Shoot them or beat them to death? I know some people have moral issues that wouldnt allow them.

Some reason i was thinking about this and figured it would make a good discusion.

It would likely have to be something very very horrible that they did. Most the time people are going to say yes they could but in reality I think most would come to their senses and not want to ruin their life by committing a crime that would put them away.

No question in my mind, yes, I would have no problem killing someone if I made up my mind to do it. I will most likely go my whole life without killing someone though, I'm a very relaxed, non angry person. I've rarely gotten in fights in my life, only when forced, I'm super forgiving and unlikely to be ruled by rage.

The law scares me more than doing the crime. I don't think I could live a life in prision. I would make a good criminal and most likely not get caught, I would think it through and not leave evidence, bodies and murder weapons around. But, if they do catch you, uhhh, that would suck.

Smart! Its not attempted murder if you shoot her below the waist. Yah same with me if someone does something really bad to my family. Like depending on the severity they would either get a beating, window smashed car, blown up car, or killed.

If I walked in on someone raping or killing my wife or daughter I would kill them in the heat of the moment. I only think that I could kill in the heat of the moment though. I could not spend more than a couple seconds thinking about it or else I would start to come to more rational thinking. My wifes (now ex wife) ex husband was sentanced to 5 years in Jail for drugs and child abuse. He told his mom he was going to kill both of us when he got out. My dad gave me a hand gun and told me that if he ever forces his way into our house let him come in than put his f*cking brains against the wall. So I guess I had put before hand thought into that.

yes i could and would without hesitation.. I was trained (brainwashed) at an early age of 18 when i went into the USAF..

It's about thinking of a situation, visualizing it, deciding on a course of action long before you ever get into that type of situation.. thus, it becomes 2nd nature.. we use to train at the thought process, it's 2nd nature now, probably always will be..

Example.. I asked my wife.. if we were walking through a parking lot.. lets say in downtown at about 6:30 in the evening, and a man approached and produced a gun and demanded that we both get in the trunk of the car..

what would she do?? before she answered, i told her i would work on getting close to the man, and i would make a play for the gun (remember, i've been trained) She said she would scream and run for help.. I told her no, as i was wrestling with the guy, she was to jump on his back, choking him if possible wrapping her legs around him as we all 3 crash to the ground..I may or may not be able to overpower him, or take the gun away, but with her added weight, the noise we would be making and hopefully the gun would go off , causing all the noise we would need to get help to us fast..

If i were to get the gun away from him.. would i shot him??

depends on his actions, does he jump up from the ground and come at me?? no?? he turns and runs?? i'd let him go..
