    aas and tobacco

i know about all the negative factors about not having a proper diet/sleep/pct, etc while doing a cycle. are there any negative factors while using aas and smoking cigarettes or chewing tobacco? i do not smoke, however, do chew tobacco on a regular basis. is this something i should quit cold turkey before starting or is it ok to toss in a plug every now and then and just cut back. just trying to get all the research and my ducks in a row, thanks.

Other than tobacco suppressing your appetite, I don't think it will be a problem. I do recommend quiting. I just quit smoking cigarettes and I feel WAY better!

Finally quit dipping after a can a day for years. Its easier than you think but you have to want to do it. Ill spare you the lecture and to be totally truthful i dont have loads more energy, maybe a little more anxiety, and still broke. However i do feel much better about myself and the pumps in the gym are insane. Im litteraly talking skin tearing buddy!

HarryDunn69 I challenge you to muster up some will power and throw out your can. Dont buy another one tomorrow, or even the day after that. Continue that process forever. Maybe keep a log in the lounge for others and note any improvements in your training or physique.

Way i see it is if im man enough to use AAS to improve myself than im man enough to quit dipping.

And now im starting to think im typing this more as reassurance for myself then encouragement for you haha.

    Congrats on quitting SuperLift.

If you have issues with high blood pressure, then I would try and quit before cycling. Also, as everyone else mentioned nicotine constricts the blood vessels, but it also increases the chance for blood clots. I know how much of a pain it is to quit. I'm throwing out my can of Grizzly Wintergreen pouches today.

When i dipped and smoked i preferred to put up the dip or cigs on my shelf and look at them everyday. The more i walked away the more willpower i felt i had and the better i felt. This was minus the fact that my appetite was coming back, my gums stopped receding, i didnt smell like shit, my breath smelt fresh, etc.... Plus the gym was so much more mind blowing once i quit.

You will find it not unusual for European Bodybuilder to smoke. Heck look at Arnold he loves cigars

does nicotine really restrict vessels that badly? especially if its not in copious amounts, would you notice a big difference when you lift?

I've heard that if u wait 1-2 hours before and after your workout, you minimize the negative effects nicotine MAY have on your workout. Anybody know more about this?

It's tough to do. I'm going on 1 year since I had a dip. It was harder to quit for me than smoking!

sPHERE, makes sense. Nicotine seems to have a very short term effect
