Any one use a personal trainer

How many have used a personal trainer. Looked into it but can be a good chunk of cash. Running my first cycle of test e 12 weeks, 5 weeks in, PCT will be Nolva my goal is to bulk up 20-25lbs with a 2-3 cycles (second cycle plans are test e 12 weeks & deca 10 weeks). So far up 10-11lbs. The other thing is I want to make sure I hold that 20-25lbs. Kinda new to all this but I feel this goal can be accomplish without spending the money on a trainer what do you guys think from your experiances?

i did once for a half hour to have him show me how to squat and deadlift properly. i was only 19 and didnt want to hurt myself. this trainer wasnt the typical pers trainer. he was a big as bber so i trusted him. it was the best $20 i ever spent.as far as using one for motavation,no way. training is the best part of my day.its what i look forward to most.good luck with your cycle.

My trainer is a BBer, I see him 3 times a week for an hour a day it makes a huge difference. There are a lot of people that don't do things the proper way and end up hurting themselves.

I hear ya. For me its not a motivation thing either I don't mind going to the gym at all and feel I'm getting some great pumps. Now to say I do everywork out by the books I'm sure I don't but I also am smart enough not to over do myself. I THINK!. Guess I just need to sit down and decide if its worth all that money. Thanks guys. Oh by the way is it possible if diet is in place to but on and keep 20lbs with 2-3 cycles without a trainer? Like I say 172 want to get to a solid not sloppy 190 and hold it.

my workout partner is going to school to be a trainer and I consider myself the luckiest person on earth cause of that. He is also a bber and really helps me stay motivated with diet, not drinking etc, I would actually pay to work out with him lol dont tell him that

When I was 21, I worked with a trainer for about a year and a half, it was only $30.00 back then. The experience I gained from my trainer has helped me throughout the years.
    I'm 40 now.

If you can afford one get one bro. I use to think I knew how to lift for 9 years until I got my trainer certification. I became a supervisor at my regular job and gaine 25lbs in a year and 24 hour was trying to sell me like a $2300 package for training to get down to 200lbs from 232lbs. I asked what cert their trainers had and they said NASM. I looked up NASM and it was like $1200 for the cert, hotel stay and seminar. Went that route instead and implemented what I learned into my workouts and got great results. Some are pretty cool and have some good routines and if you know your way around the gym and what exercises are what they can go thru the routine with you and let you go on your own without having to see them every workout.

If I were you I would read up on how to preform the exercises properly. Start off with some light weight to learn proper technique. If there is someone in your gym that is pretty jacked up, go up to him/her and ask for a little advice. People come up to me all the time and I am more than happy to help, as long as they do not bother me in the middle of a set...lol. If you can afford it though, hire a trainer but make sure he is qualified and looks like he has picked up a weight before. Thats what I would do at least. My uncle was a bodybuilder so back in the day when I started i had an Ace in the hole

I agree. If you do get a trainer make sure he or she has a good cert. Some you can get out of a cracker jack box. Also make sure they are current in their continuing education credits. Some places don't keep up with their trainers certs and they may be expired and not keeping up with new techniques and the benefits of them.
