When I read a thread then it used to show up on the list as read, i.e. no longer in bold. For some reason today it stopped doing that and I have to click Mark forum AS READ.
Is that something going on with the board or something on MY end?

my only thought is if you hit the back button instead of going to the top and clicking the board link again

cool, thanks for offering advice.
but, nah, i had used back button but refreshing and never had this problem.
then suddenly without changing the procedure it stopped marking threads as read. forums home button doesn't help either.
it's WEIRD....
