Seeking Faster Recovery from an Injury

Hi I'm not a bodybuilder by any means, and I have no experience with steroids at all, so if some of you more experienced people here can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a competitive grappler in a light weight class, and I'm pretty comfortable there, and I'm not looking to get much bigger, but here is my dilemma:

Earlier this year I broke my arm training for a competition, and I had to get surgery. I now have a plate and seven screws in my dominant arms radius. It's been months now, and the slow healing process is killing me. My arm is probably about 80% healed, but I still can't use it much in light training. I also feeling like the several inactive months have killed my muscular endurance and strength.

Anyway I was recomended HGH by several people who told me it drastically improve my healing process, and help me get back to where I was strength wise. So I was seriously considering it, but then I heard there were a few drawbacks including possible loss of flexibility in the joints, and the price tag.

Recently another person recomended Deca with a bit of Test to boost it. He said it would be much easier for me to afford, and would be an overall better choice to help me heal quicker while actually helping me with some annoying non-related joint problems (which I have a lot of). I read the info on the homepage of this site, and it seemed to support what he said, so I am thinking this is the best route but I am very naive on this subject and would feel more comfortable with some expert advice.

another person offered me EQ, and actually gave me some, so I have a bit, but he didn't really seem to know what he was talking about, and I don't know exactly how to use it, or what the general effects of EQ actually are. though if that would help how much should I take as a first time user at 150lbs? ore would it even be good for me to start with that while I'm waiting for the Deca/Test combo?

Anyway can anyone here give me some insight into this? I just want my arm to feel good again ASAP, and putting on a bit of muscle and gaining strength in the process would be a great bonus because lord knows I could use it.

actually that's why I posted here. I wasn't planning on using anything untill people started telling me it would heal me quicker. I just want a full recovery as fast as possible, and since I am mostly healed and training again already (that won't change regardless) I was told that either HGH or deca would be a wise decision at this point, and the info on the site's front page seemed to support it.

could you please give a brief explaination why it would be best for me to wait?

because I have absolutely no problem with that since you really seem to know your stuff.

HGH would definately help spped up the process. That is a fact. HOWEVER, you would of had to been on it before you were injured. HGH takes quite a while to start seeing benefits from.

There is not miracle drug for you at this point.

So you use nicotine in any form?

Nicotine drastically slows bone growth and development and shoud have been avoided all along. Just and FYI.

thank you for the info on HGH, but why wouldn't deca help?

As for me no nicotine or drugs of any kind right now, but I haven't been eating that great since the injury which probably doesn't help. I think my healing process is probably about normal, but I'm itching to be able to compete again ASAP and I'm willing to do whatever I have to. If that means start eating good again, and not Deca then that's what I'll do. And as I mentioned obviously the broken arm is my main concern, but I also have joint problems and after reading the info on deca and seeing what it said it got me more interested.

I would highly recommend letting nature take its course. Once it heals, the bone there will be stronger than ever before. You are looking at about a 3-4 month full recovery of the bone. Deca is not (to my knowledge) going to do anything for bone growth. Joint issues are generally tendon or cartalage related
