All needles can be disposed of at your local Health Department, OR they can be broken in half, wrapped in newspaper and disposed with your house hold trash. Such are the instructions from my local Household Hazardous Waste Technician.

i throw mine in the trash, not so good i know,
i take all my pins off, cap em well, throw the syringes away too, all in its own bag inside another bag from my room which then goes in the main garbage

most clinics and stuff will give you needle disposal containers that you bring back to them,

it's what i used to do , and need to start doing again..

empty supp bottles....then when the bonfire comes around burn the containers......what needles don't melt get caught up in the melting array of plastic and it's all good

So would it be a bad idea to just throw them away in the school sand box then???

But seriously I use old protein jugs, it's real thick plastic, and then tape them up to seal 'em.

I toss them in the toilet and flush them down.

I take mine to rite aid (local pharmacy) they give me sharp containers, I take them home and fill them up with pins..... then drop them off... it's perfectly legal and they never ask for my info or anything. It's just safer that way

I plan on using my empty protein jug, and then either burning it or finding a random dumpster nowhere near my house or work. I live way out in the country, so I could probably burn or bury it somewhere. Although burying might not be such a good idea.
