    Suppressing hunger @ night

    Whatsup everyone????????????????????????

    Im cutting.
Some ppl say don't eat after 7-8pm.
Its tough for me to do that, because I get hungry and cannot go to sleep.
I can afford a few extra cals, but would rather not use them.

Would metamucil or fiber one and the such help out?
I hear they suppress hunger w/ little cals.

I am a poor student, so I don't have the luxury to buy pots of disgusting 0% cottage cheese/casein.

Thanks for taking that into consideration

I eat celery raw, or steamed broccoli with some of that 0 calorie butter spray stuff and a littel salt. Can't go wrong with the green veggies IMO

If you are eating every 3 hours(6 meals a day), you should have enough food in you for this not to be a problem. I sometimes eat right before bed.

x3 Any green vegetable will have virtually no calories. i would highly suggest a portion of lean meat before bed at minimum and maybe a little good fats

try some egg whtes, chicken breast, casien adn water...so many to choose from. You should be eating every few hours. On top of that make some chnges in your diet to allow a meal before bedtime...keep it no carbs, and lean protein....good to go.

I eat right before bed because I usually go to sleep around 11pm and get up at 7am. If I didn't eat after 8pm my next meal isn't until 8am. That's 12 hours without food! Your body basically goes into storage mode and shuts down your metabolism when you don't eat for that long. Get some cottage cheese/almonds/green veggies or whatever fits into those cals you can use right before bed.

it doesn't shut down your metabolism. what it does is it turns the catabolic part of your metabolism ON overdrive to keep up with energy requirements. so catabolic no longer means blood cell turnover, and connective tissue turnover (or better yet, fat cell destruction) it means catabolic to other lean tissue. set up a diet so your only fast is while you're sleeping, not before or after it.
