    Baby makin

Situation. I just began my 3rd cycle- about 2wks in
    test cyp 625 wk 1-14weeks
    deca 350wk 1-12 weeks

My wife really wants to start trying for children. I know that both of these will supress my natural test levels, but does that directly effect my sperm count or ability to impregnate? I understand that a lot of dudes have got women pregnant while on gear but does this decrease my chances and does it increase chances of birth defects?
    Any thoughts, thx

Chances may be decreased but its very much an individual thing, as you have said plenty of Bros have become fathers while on. Juice will not cause any birth defects at all !!!

I just ran into the same problem! I'm three weeks in and there's no turning back for me. I was doing some reading on this very subject, and found some info that said testosterone can actually work as a sort of male birth control

    http://answers.google.com/answers/th...id/773844.html

My biggest concern is during PCT...lots of info on Nolvadex being very dangerous towards pregnancy and fetus's. Not sure if thats in your PCT plan or not (it's in mine!) I read that Nolva takes 2 months to clear your system.

My wife knows I'm on...so I'll be wrapping up AND pulling out during PCT and for at least 60 days after.

    Good luck

Thats when its used by a woman not a man dude. Nolvadex is actually used as a chemotherapy drug in women with Breast Cancer

I know that...men get breast cancer as well...I'll try and find the article that warned against men using it if trying to get their significant other pregnant.

It seems plausible that the drug could be excreted in the sperm and do damage (especially in that crucial time when you don't know that your pregnant). Better to error on the side of caution...IMHO

    Precautions:

Before starting tamoxifen treatment, make sure you tell your doctor about any other medications you are taking (including prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins, herbal remedies, etc.). Do not take aspirin, or products containing aspirin unless your doctor specifically permits this.
Let your health care professional know if you have ever had a blood clot that required medical treatment.
Inform your health care professional if you are pregnant or may be pregnant prior to starting this treatment. Pregnancy category D (tamoxifen may be hazardous to the fetus. Women who are pregnant or become pregnant must be advised of the potential hazard to the fetus).
For both men and women: Do not conceive a child (get pregnant) while taking tamoxifen. Barrier methods of contraception, such as condoms, are recommended. Discuss with your doctor when you may safely become pregnant or conceive a child after therapy.
Do not breast feed while taking this medication

That's all I'm saying...to each his own...better three months of wrapping up, than a lifetime of dealing with consequences

absolutely agree. I would love to know what the mechanism is that makes it dangerous in men though.

I've been looking through the PI and can't find it (not helping that my eyes are starting to burn!)

I'm wondering if it's a precautionary measure...due to the drug being excreted in semen? I did find that it's excreted in breast milk in woman, so it doesn't seem crazy that it would come out in ejaculate.

Maybe the logic is that incase you have a Michael Phelps swimming upstream, the drug is still bound to the sperm and can damage during fertilization?

    Not sure...I'll keep looking...

Hmmmmm......All good stuff. Thanks Bros...and Bad Barbie. Since I'm only 2 wks in I think I'm going to bow out and wait until the bun is in the oven to begin my cycle once again. As much as I love banging my wife I'd like to get this waiting game out of the way.
