refrigerate unconstituted hcg?

My "pharmacist" gave me a 5000iu dose of hcg from asia with no english writing on it (1 vial with a dry tab and 1 amp of sovent). He tells me (2 weeks after selling it to me) that it is absolutely essential to refrigerate it right away even before reconstituting. It's been in my sock drawer, is it pooched or is he full of shit?

From a quick search I see that the average shelf-life of unconstituted hcg is 2 years.

I keep mine in the fridge, but I think your fine until its reconstituted. Then it MUST be kept cool.

What's most important is that it is protected from light when unconstituted.

What I do is take tin foil and wrap around my amps of HCG and store them in a shoebox with my other gear. Minimizing light damage when the compound is unconstituted is just as important as heat damage.

Store at controlled room temperature 15-30c (59-86f). Refrigerate after reconstitution and use within 60 days.
