I eat whole wheat pasta from time to time but it all depends on your goals, what you put on the pasta and what else you're eating the rest of the day. I wouldn't make it your only carb source but it's a good alternative to switch it up once in a while.

I eat WW pasta as well, and usually prepare it for a meal on the go; especially when a Pesto sauce or other such tasty, oleaginous garnishes are added (EFA's).

On the other hand, some people don't respond well to wheat products because their digestive system is extremely sensitive to gluten. Therefore, rice, beans, and other pulses (such as lentils) can be consumed as healthy complex carbs.

If you like the consistency of long pasta, check out Soba Noodles. They are made from buckwheat which, despite its name, is a gluten-free grain. The Japanese use it in many of their dishes, so be weary as I think it contains high amounts of Sodium... and I am not positive on this, so check your labels. Just some thoughts, hope this helps.

From reading on here, I see it is used a lot in bulking diets. Not so much in cutting it seems.

I use whole wheat pasta in both bulking and cutting... I just eat it plain when cutting... Tastes kind of gritty, but I'm eating for the nutrients, not the taste.

    best i've seen.

i don't use it much because i prefer potatoes to pasta everyday. but it isn't a bad choice per se, i know of much worse choices.

In off-season I'll have usually one meal a week with WW pasta, other than that I just prefer sweet potatoes or brown rice or beans...just my preference though.

Go for it, pasta is great especially brown which I eat in the evening meal while white at lunch.
However, there is pasta and pasta and the best is named "Voiello".
