    Vascularity

I see photos of bodybuilders who are cut, ripped, etc, however, I have found that some bodybuilders look as if their muscle is going to jump out of thier skin. I mean, the vascularity is so amazing...it's everywhere. They appear as if they are so jakked...they can't move.

I love that 'pumped' and 'vasular look' however, I must not possess the genes to make that happen. Vascularity seems to be a genetic gift in addition to very low body fat %.

Low body fat is a definately a big part of it but I agree, genetics seems to play a major role also. I have seen some downright fat dudes in the gym with rope size veigns running down their arms.

I second that I have decently sized biceps and I know for a fact that there is not a lot of fat there, however i only have veins in my forearms and now i can see some in my biceps and triceps but not the rope one down the middle of the bi's I hate that.

Funny how things change, I saw Dexter being interviewed immediately after he won the Arnold Classic this year and there was not a vein to be found anywhere. I dont know if it's the extreme dehydration or the different cocktail mixtures these guys do precontest these day but the look is totally different.

I saw him pose at a Gold's in New Jersey. Real nice guy and freaky build. Real open about the sport and steroids.

You're absolutely right. I met Rich once in the 80's and he's a great guy.

No joke even when I am down in the sub 6% range in BF, I do not get the huge bicep veins. I got good forearm and my abs are nasty with stomach veins but i long for the huge fire hose veins in my biceps that I will never get. That and I doubt I ever get my BF that low again.....LOL

sweet pic of rich, he still has amazing vascularity. i think its genetics too, my brothers arent weight lifters and have veins running up and down their arms just from lifting up a glass of water etc..

Damn, Gaspari has a huge melon. His pumpkin is half as big as his torso!! No wonder he's so vascular - his heart has to pump a vast amount of blood to keep his cranium going. There's a moon in orbit just off his left earlobe.
