Anyone on hear happen to be a gemologists or in the know on diamonds?

I'm not talking about you if the extent of your knowledge is the four C's.

I have the opportuntity to buy a 2+ carat diamond ring, decent color/clarity. My questions is about the cert. on the stone. It is GGL (as opposed to GIA or EGL) and I've never heard of that cert. company before. I can obviously get it re-certified but I want to know right now what I'm getting.

my boy is a diamond wholesaler give me the specif info on it. I'm seeing him later this after noon he is bringing me a bigger diamond to swap on my wife's ring
