Curious on how to measure insulin into a syringe. I will be using the nsulin Syringe with Needle, 29 G X 1/2" 1 CC. How much would I need to draw into the syringe ( what marking would it be up to) for 5IU of humalog insulin?

you have 1cc syringes? if so then every little line will be 1iu. 10clicks would be 10ius and so on. 10ius of slin is a really small amount and dosnt look like much in the syringe but i asure you it works and you definatly dont want to over due it

that confused me to. he said 1cc so i assumed he ment the needle was 1/2'' but i never had a slin syringe with a 1/2'' needle i always use 5/8th but there are alot of 1/2'' needles out there i just dont use them

Yeah, I've got 1cc 29ga x 1/2". I never really needed the 1/2cc pins.

sorry, i refer to needles and syringes together as pins. . .

I inject both slin and hgh (not together). I use 31 gauge BD Ultra-Fine II short 5/16" needle insulin syringes w/ needle attached. I did use a cheaper brand at first, but I have to extract HGH from my blue top vial, so once through the blue top and the cheaper syringe is too dull for a comfortable injection. The ultra-fine BD's seem to work well for me.

More specifically... it's once through the rubber plug, AFTER I remove (and discard) the blue top. But even without the blue top, it will always be a blue top generic vial of hgh to me....
