    Armour Thyroid

Hi, my doctor prescribed me this. Question: Do thyroid meds stop endogenous T3/T4 production as an AAS would with Test production?

Yes, they most certainly do, and is dose dependent like AAS suppression of testicular function is. T3/4 inhibits TRH and TSH production through negative feedback loop. Doesn't shut down 100%...

    Jigga...

Dont know much about t3/t4 but Im also on Armour 60mg daily along with cytomel. Be careful not to take it too late in the day or you may have hard time sleeping, I know I did.

Agreed, though I'd temper this by saying it can, rather than does, because as Scibble pointed out it's dose dependent and feedback moderated.
Jigga, PM me the dosage and reason, if you don't want to post them.

Armour thyroid medication is T3/T4, of which Cytomel is the former and can used for various maladies:

Hey my Jigga, post up a follow up for your bros!
My Dr's nurse just called today and told me I was prescribed 15mg ed Armour for low tsh...So I'm looking for threads to get an idea of what to expect. Help me out...

I have been feeling pretty tired for a while now, and have to force myself sometimes to follow through on workouts when not completely recovered. On the flipside I have trouble getting to sleep.
