does uncooked oatmeal have the same nutritional value as cooked oatmeal. I know it changes for meats but am unsure for oatmeal. I want to try the tuna, oj shake and throw in some uncooked oats for a quick meal at work. thanks.

You will not lose any nutrition by not cooking them, many people throw them into shakes.
If anything you will gain benefit by not cooking them. Most oats are pre toasted anyways.
oats are better uncooked the cooked ones vary alittle but most just mix them inj shake and chew them up or blend them but they are a good source of constant
energy
Cooking your oats is superior! When you consume oats in the raw form (example, blending 1 cup with your protein shake) you are raising the GI of the oats slightly. Although, I believe that it only slightly raises the GI of the oats. Also, nothing is better for digestion/absorption than the good ole "chewing" process...chewing has many advantages over just drinking your oats. So to answer you question yes uncooked oatmeal has the same nutritional value but with a slightly higher GI. IMO, cook and chew the oats if you have the time, if you are in a rush it is fine to blend the oats.
TUNA OJ??!?!?! EWWAHHHHH!
On a good note, I have been having the HARDEST time getting all of those oats down and have been cheating myself of about 10-20% of them everytime and just put them in a shake for the first time and it was a cake walk to get em down. 70g of carbs worth! I'm prob more happy then I should be about it but it's weight off my back.
Then M302_Imola has to come in here and ruin everybodys good timejk
