    Eating on the road

i travel alot on the weekends, diet is strict during week and fine basically

when i travel the diet is so rough to maintain, its like fast food or starve, in those situations what do you guys like to do when you're away from home and cant get ur shakes in / get the right amount of grams of protein

what i've been doing is like buying beef jerky due to the protein in it like 50g+ but it has insane level of sodium, those protein bars at the gas stations are ok but its not a meal .. subway sometimes, things like that,

what do u guys do on the road

Cook some chicken breast and brown rice fri for the weekends. Cook the chicken, cut it up into squares then mix it with brown rice and put it in a tubberwear container. I eat this everyday cold in my work truck and its great.

Tuna here should be a huge life saver, just get packs of lowfat mayo and keep a can opener, keep a can of some kind of nuts with you. Big100s are a nice bar you can look into buying a box of. Chickin rice, steak in rice, use wraps man you just have to get creative. I am a lineman, and was working out of town for over a year and had this same problem. You just have to play with your few choices and find what's right.

i was just gonna ask about what type of protein bars ppl like, i use " Steel chocolate bars" 20g of protein 24 of them is 24 bucks on amazon, i thought that was dirty cheap..

the wrap sounds like a good idea also, definitely going to have to try that, but yea recently its been super hard on the weekends + alcohol adds into the mix and its diet down the tubes
