clomid, visual disturbances?

Has anyone ever experienced visual disturbances whilst on clomid? i have not used it before and am including it in my next pct, any other s/e to report, i have heard about hormonal changes/mood swings whilst on it, like a woman whos time of the month it is!!!!

anything over 50mgs at a time will cause visual disturbances for me.

see how i go with 100 suppose i could drop dose if it affects me, u think?

i take it at night before bed to avoid this.. use to have these issues when i used the old protocol with the 300mg the first day but not much with 100mg or under..

depressed yeah thats what i head, not good when u just come off the high of being on a cycle! found any ways to combat this?

I never had vision probs with clomid.

I took 150mg on the first day and my vision was sort of blurry on and off. It quickly faded and my sex drive is better than it was, so from my experience, the benefits outweigh the sides.

I would get very lightheaded while taking this. I had to sit down numerous times while I was talking to people.

never a problem with me personally but a small % gets blurry vision but typically with larger dosages.

Any evidence to show that clomid use over time (on and off) can cause damage to vision (permanently) ?

I would get tracers in low lighting at 100mg/day

I followed a post a while back (year or two) where the OP reported vision problems that would not cease after clomid use. He made repeated visits to the Dr but could not shake the vision problems.

I would never use clomid.

it happens, do a google search for "Clomid vision problems" .. you'll mostly get women talking about it because that's what it's normally for but You'll also see threads from steroid boards about people complaining about it.

Doesn't happen to everyone or at any specific dose but it's common

Clomid Side Effects

A problem arose during a very aggressive Clomid PCT routine once. I was taking pretty high doses (150mgs/day) of clomid for an extended time (over a month) and was having vision issues. When I looked into the subject more closely, this was a common occurrence with steroid.com members. Upon further investigation, I found out the optic neuropathy (a fancy way of saying "vision problems") was actually very common with clomid usage (5)(6).Since I already wear contact lenses, I´ve had to remove Clomid from my PCT routine.

Clomid as of late has fallen out of favor for post-cycle routines, but if you aren´t prone to vision problems or emotional issues, then it is just as good as nolvadex for raising testosterone when appropriate doses are used. I recommend using 150mgs/day for ten days, and decreasing the dose by 50mgs every ten days until you´re finished at day 30. Many of the bodybuilders and athletes I´ve spoken to have used it in a similar fashion and found that it restores their testosterone levels to norma

hmm also been reading alot of other forums and the general consensus seems that the sides out weight the benefits! any other serm or similar i could use with nolva and aromasin?

well thanks for all the replys guys! I think i am going to do nolva, aromasin for pct and start with 50mg od clomid taken at night to see how i get on also using 500i.u twice weekly of hcg whilst on cycle discontinuing 2 weeks before pct (at last injection of test e)
