    Need help injecting Deltoid!!!

The only place that I have injected is just my glutes so I decided to try and do my deltoid but kind of nervous. From talking to my friend he says to divide my shoulder into four squares and inject into the squares closer to my back.
Looking on the spotinjection site they show a picture of doing it in the middle front. Which is the best technique to use?
    Thanks

I'm using my phone so that's why the text looks like that. Sorry
either medial or posterior (middle or rear) is fine for injection, the spot injection site is pretty spot on

I find the key to delt injections, and I found this out the hard way, is to MAKE SURE you do not flex your shoulder by accident. Its way easier to do by accident than quads and glutes. I find making sure to let your arm hang very limp rather than letting it rest on a desk works better.

I gotta try that next time I always lean it on something. What difference do you find?

I just find that my delt flexes (moving the needle small amounts) less on me. When I lean it on the desk it would always twitch a little.

So is there more of a risk involded shooting your delt vs. shooting the glutes. For example like hitting a nerve or a vein?

the risk in your glutes is your sciatic nerve, but that's pretty deep, unless you're shooting with a 1.5" and your really low bf i wouldn't worry

with your delts, the veins that you see in the middle of your bicep runs up into your armpit(not exactly but thats the best way i can describe it), so you could hit it if you shoot your front delt, but not likely

Just did my shot. While I was pushing in the needle my should kinda twiched a couple of times, so I aspirated and injected all the fluid pretty slow while trying to keep my hand steady. It was pretty hard. lol
Now when I stretch my arm across my chest it kind of feels weird with a dull pain, so I'm not sure if thats all normal or I messed up somehow?

I have more meat towards the back so I hit it there. I find it easier and less pain compared to glutes.

I have the 3ml 22G 1 1/2 darts......for my glute. What do you recommend for the delts?

ALso, I have used gear in the past. I have never "aspirated." I stuck the needle in.....and slowly injected and then removed the needle. What is the point of aspiration?

To ensure you are not injecting directly into a vein. When you aspirate you are looking for blood in the syringe, which would be indicative of having hit a vein.
