    Cut Diet Critique

    **Edited to update macros**

I'm transitioning from my winter bulk to a short, intense cut. Unfortunately I bulked a little too much and now I'm left trying to cut 6-7% BF in 5 weeks. Please critique the following diet and let me know any modifications that may help me achieve my goal... Sorry in advance for no macros

    Supps:
-5 days left on Havoc/3AD cycle
-Old skool My oGenX, Nolvadex (40/40/20/20) for the next 4 weeks.
    -Clenbuterol (120mcg, 2 weeks on, 1 off, 50mg benadryl)
-Dymatize Xpand (NO product w/CEE and stims)

    Cardio:
    40mins morning w/empty stomach
    30mins post workout

    Diet:

    Meal 1:
    15g BCAA's during morning cardio
50g whey/14g Flax seed oil after
    cal 463 carb 9 fat 26 pro 48

    Meal 2:
1 cup cottage cheese, 1 tbsp peanut butter
    cal 308 carb 11 fat 12 pro 35

    Meal 3:
    6oz Lean protein + veg + almonds
    cal 345 carb 7 fat 15 pro 44

    Meal 4:
Protein pudding (25g whey, 1tbsp peanut butter) fat free/sugar free pudding
    cal 250 carb 10 fat 9 pro 30

    Meal 5:
PWO Shake - 50g whey, 35g waxy maize starch
    cal 360 carb 40 fat 4 pro 50

    Meal 6:
    6oz lean protein + 1tbsp flax
    cal 320 carb 1 fat 16 pro 40

    Total Macros:
    Cals: 2,046
    Carb: 78
    Fat: 82
    Pro: 247

**Seems really low, but I'm willing to sacrifice a little muscle in order to hit my goals. Is there anything you see that could be tweaked/adjusted? I hate vegetables, so I've been taking BioGreens powdered veg.

To note: I bulked 23 lbs this past month on the Havoc/3AD cycle, but got sloppy at about 21% BF. At 19.5% right now, and looking to be as low as possible, but realistically 14-15% in 5 weeks. Is it possible?

LOL It's "I over-did it on my winter bulk" season again, you're not alone my friend.

I'd like to see your marco breakdown for this diet. It just doesn't look like enough food, but it's hard to be sure without the numbers.

Your cardio (When you do it, and what you're eating around that time) look solid. Are you lifting 5 times a week? 6?

I think that if it were me I'd change meals 2 and 6 around.

    Lets see those macros.

This has been on a 5 day/week lifting session. I will probably continue to do morning cardio on the off days unless it will hinder my gains.

Also, been taking CEE before and after weights, as well as before Cardio. Is the CEE before cardio a waste? My thoughts were that it may increase muscle retention, however my BF went up on the first day doing so with 1:15 mins total cardio and a perfect diet???

Oh and upped the BCAA's to 20g sipped throughout cardio in morning.

    Stats:

    187 lbs (morning, empty stomach)
    19.7% BF today
    5'11
    22 years old

I know my cals are extremely low, but for some reason I am just not losing unless I'm running the Clen. For example: I had last week off Clen, and literally followed my diet perfectly, and somehow my BF went up from 19.0 to 19.7% today.

I'm wondering if maybe I NEED to throw in a cheat meal just to get my body to start losing again?

Is 2x/day cardio too much for what I am trying to accomplish? Like I said, as much as I'd hate to lose muscle, I'm willing to sacrifice to reach my goals...

I use one of those scales that measures your BF, Water %, Muscle Mass and Bone Mass. I can tell it is very innaccurate, however it is good for trending my progress since I use it at the same time/under the same conditions every morning.

IMO, there is no way I could be at 19.7% and still be able to see all 6 Abs, right?

People estimating on a picture here are more accurate than those scales. They are a joke.

I agree, but it is good for trending if you are doing it under the same conditions (first thing in the morning after taking a piss).

Anybody have input on the diet? I can't seem to lose right now without clen...

Drop the flax and add 1 cup of oatmeal
    Meal 2:
1 cup cottage cheese, 1 tbsp peanut butter
    cal 308 carb 11 fat 12 pro 35
    ok
    Meal 3:
    6oz Lean protein + veg + almonds
    cal 345 carb 7 fat 15 pro 44
    Good
    Meal 4:
Protein pudding (25g whey, 1tbsp peanut butter) fat free/sugar free pudding
    cal 250 carb 10 fat 9 pro 30
I would go with a lean protein source (ex. canned tuna) with 1 cup of oatmeal or swt pot and add a small amount of fat as well
    Meal 5:
PWO Shake - 50g whey, 35g waxy maize starch
    cal 360 carb 40 fat 4 pro 50
    Good
    Meal 6:
    6oz lean protein + 1tbsp flax
    cal 320 carb 1 fat 16 pro 40
This looks good but some cottage cheese plus the flax would be preferrable.

    Comments in bold above!
Overall the diet looks descent but I have pointed out some changes I would make. I think the reason you are not getting the results you want is that you are not eating enough and putting your body into starvation mode. You must have carbs for breakfast, pre workout, and post workout. You can stay low carb for 3-4 days in a row but you will eventually need a refeed day (carb up, carbs in 4 out of 6 meals and plenty of them). This will trick the body into thinking it is not in starvation mode.
