what size needle?
what kind of welts? I've never gotten a welt from an injection.

weight?
body fat%?
years training?

Injecting too quickly can cause issues, I had some problems with winny the only time I ever used the injectable form the plunger would get stuck and I'd have to ream on it and suddenly I'd fire through the whole shot instantly....ouch. Other than that never a problem even with big shots. Give some more info.

be sure you massage the area lightly afterwards as well.
