    health concern?

I have a friend who just got released from the hospital after haveing 2 stints put in because he had 99% blockage in one of his vessels/artries and sense they were all ready in there the other wasnt that bad but they went ahead and put a stint in there too..he has been using AAS for most of this adult life...he is 42 now...and in his 20s he competed and was basicly on for 9 straight years. not huge amounts but constant for those years...then...he was off for 5 yrs and been on back on for the last 4 or 5 years. The crazy thing is...he didnt have any signs of an enlarged heart or any damage or stiffness to his left ventrical at all...and the rest of his artries in his heart were not only good...but better than most peoples...his blood lipids werent good...but not totally insane...his HDL was 26 and LDL was 160..and total cholestrol was 254 which all these are bad...but i have seen alot worse....and his cardiac doctor told him that once the stints were healed and everything looks fine...he told him he can continue using AAS like he did....so my question is do you think it was because of his use...he had the blockage?...because no other signs of abuse were there

no one can say. maybe it was or maybe it was hereditary. maybe it was from a bad lifelong diet. nobody can really say for sure why these problems developed

This is reason why I use to have blood works.

It is propably related to his AAS use. Lower HDL and higher LDL put him to higher risk for coronary heart disease.

We all have to know our lipids, BP and family history.! And how affect us AAS biochemicaly. Based on this we can use AAS with lowered risk.

I have excellent lipid profile with my life style and thanks to my genes from mother side and my resting BP is 100/50 a HR 50bpm. And one think like bonus Iam Gilbert thats mean I have high billirubine in plasma and billirubine is antioxidant and as we know LDL have to be oxidased before it can do damage on our vesels and also blood vesels walls have to be damaged by oxidation. This put me to low risk. But this dont mean that I will never develop coronary heart disease. Iam still in risk and greater risk with AAS like everyone!

    AAS just multiply your risks....
