    Testosterone / Cutting

    Some of you might have seen my other thread as I am keen to run a cutting cycle with Testosterone (even at a lower dose, 200-400mg/week) just to keep gains or even better increase them while I'm cutting - which would be excellent!
    But does anyone have experience running Test on a cutting cycle? Can anyone provide the facts/logs/results in regards to Test/Estrogen levels etc?

    All up I just want to know how it'll effect my body during a cut, not a bulk. Thanks

    So you are going to run a low dose test cycle and hope to cut up a bit and maintain/increase muscle, fine.
    Whats the problem?

    I'm curious to how the body reacts when increasing Testosterone at 200-400mg during cutting, even at a higher than usual BF% - more so ~15-20% (Also how estrogen would play a part etc)

    For some reason I keep thinking of someone I read a while back being prescribed 250mg of Sustanon 250 (1ml per week) while he was trying to lose weight but I really cant remember the specifics or if I'd mis-read.

    obviously test will not cut you up but alot of us run it while cutting. you can run any test you want when cutting, your diet and cardio will be the determining factor of whether you cut or not

    I think you are making things much more complicated than they really are.
    If you are interest in the effects of testosterone the endochrine system then maybe some research into clinical endo studies by chief endo's like shalender bhasin.

    most of us do run test while either preparing for a comp or cutting down. When Im getting ready for a show the last 6 weeks I use test susp. 300mgs a week. The amount of test also depends on your carb intake and cardio. If you drop your carbs too low and have an above average cardio program chances are you will burn muscle too. The test will help prevent this a bit.

    What if I wanted to increase strength while cutting, even if it was just a small amount - would 200-400mg of Test per week give me that atleast?

    Cardio would be daily, I'd say diet would be 40/40/20 (plus BCAA to prevent muscle loss in cardio etc)

    Proposed cutting cycle would be keeping it simple as below:

    TEST CYP @ 200mg/ml
    Mon + Thu = 1ml (400mg per week)

    Clenbuterol (Cycling as usual)

    ARIMIDEX @ 0.5mg ED (To avoid bloat and/or gyno)

    PCT
    Nolvadex: 40/40/20/20
    Arimidex: 0.5/0.5/0.5/0.5

    Decided not to add Stanozolol as it wouldnt benefit be at this BF%

    T3 50mcg/day
    Anavar 40mg/day
    clen xxxmcg/day
    arimidex 0.5mg twice a week

    Sounds good actually Why T3? And any reason not to up my T3 dose to 100mg ED? Saves me from cutting them in half. Thanks!

    T3 if you havent tried it is insane for cutting. i wouldnt go up to 100mcg thats too much for me personally. i would start at 25mcg and move up in 25mcg increments. i found at 75mcg sides were too harsh. i take 25mcg per day to increase protein synthesis and increase the fat burning.

    why not test prop, I thought it was best for cutting? It worked very well for me!

    The Test only will help to maintain your muscle tissue while cutting, you don't need anything extreme or complicated, diet and cardio will reduce your bf concentrate on these ares and you will be fine.

    TEST CYPIONATE: Weeks 1-10: 400mg (Mon/Thu)

    ARIMIDEX: Weeks 1-10: 0.5mg (Tue/Fri)

    ANAVAR: Weeks 1-5: 50mg ED

    T3: Weeks 1-10: 50mg ED (Depending on sides)

    CLEN: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off up to 120mcg

    PCT: (Starting 2 weeks after final injection)
    Nolvadex: 40/40/20/20
    Arimidex: 0.5mg Mon/Thu


    All sound good? I can't afford to run Anavar much longer than 5 weeks.

    A little off topic but would you recomend throwing T3 into a lean bulk cycle consisting of Test Prop 150mg EOD (weeks 1-10) and oral Winstrol 50mg ED(weeks 7-10)? If so, would you run it throughout the whole cycle and at what dosage?

    FYI, Stats 28M 5'-10" 186lbs @ 9%BF. This will be my 4th cycle. PCT will be nolva and clomid and my goal is to cut down to 7% BF while gaining roughly 10lbs. Also, I am a diet nazi so it will be in check.

    im actually trying it out in the lean bulk right now. just started last week. im doing:
    100mg/wk test e (hrt)
    450mg/wk deca
    60mg armour thyroid (aprox.25mcg t3) ed
    1mg albuterol ed
    1200mcg B-12 ed

    weight is going up steadily and fat is dropping steadily. i would try 25mcg for the duration of the cycle. seems to work good at adding muscle at a low dosage.

    would taking t3 by itself do anything for cutting or does it need to be included in a test cycle?

    sweet I might give that a go! Keep me informed on your progress...I should be starting in a few weeks.

    You will burn up all kinds of muscle if you use t3 without test, so if you plan on running t3, test is a must.
