    Exclamation Hello

    Goodmorning!
I am a female new to this site and today is my first day on a no-carb diet.
I am at my heaviest weight ever and I cant take it anymore.! I currently weigh about 160lbs and I am 5"7 I want to loose atleast 25-30 pounds.I am going to start runnig, going to spinning classes and taking eca along with my diet. Alot of people tell me running is not good but this is really the only excersize I enjoy so Im just going to stick with that for the beginning. Does any one have any suggestions? I can use all the help I can get!!
    Thanks!!!

Don't let people discourage you from running. And, don't let anybody tell you the elliptical is 'just as effective.' I'm no scientist, but imo that is complete bull$hit.

Especially if you enjoy it! Run your little heart off!

Like Ghetto said make sure you also follow a weight training program... Lots of cardio is good but add in a weight training regiment and you will be on your way.... Don't fall into the myth that you'll get big bulky muscles by doing such... How do you expect to tone your body into shape, should be common sense but in my experience seems its not

I have tried to run, but it gave me really bad knee problems and something that is easier on your body is the Elliptistrider and puts very little stress on your knees and makes you really burn some calories. But do what you enjoy and best suits you. Good luck.
