Simple Questions: Should I take Steroids?

Before you guys start thinking this question is not asked for me, its for a lay man.

Lets take a case of a 25 yr old guy whos has been lifting for 3-4 yrs.
Has a decent physic, not well defined not a great size.
He is not a model not a professional body builder.
He thinks he should take steroids because he wants to look better (like all of us do)

But considering his case where he would be taking steroids for no commercial or professional use. He will be taking them simple because he wants a better shape.

What do u guys think should he enter the syringe world or stay away from it?

DUDE! that's not a question for anyone on this board..... dont let these people, or myself decide your fate....

    1. Steroids are safe if done correctly
    2. Plenty of people use them to look better and there is anecdotal data that suggests they can be beneficial to your health if done in moderation.
    3. They work...
    4. You will love them...

    BUT...

    5. They are Illegal
    6. They have social and moral consequences...
    7. Is it worth it?

You have to way the importance of them to yourself and not let other influence your decision.... just my 2 cents..

    that's not the issue.

I only use gear for personal appearance. as do many people on this forum.

the real issue is whether he is ready in terms of knowledge of what he's doing, and how prepared his body is.

We are not his mother. Tell him to do research and make an informative decision based on his findings.

What kind of question is that?

Should an a 25 year old who workouts out for fun do steroids so he can make himself look better?

Basically you must suffer from some type of self-esteem problem if you look to steroids for making yourself more attractive so people respect/like you more.

Alot of guys on here won't admit it, but that's what it all comes down to, self-esteem and pride. Muscle dysmorphia is rampant in steroid users and in the world of bodybuilding, it doesn't get enough attention as anorexia does but it should. Boys are being raised up to believe that in order to be tough, attractive, and gain respect is by looking like Rambo or Arnold. That's not different than girls who are raised up looking at magazines and seeing thin and perfect woman, young kids are being raised to strive for perfect bodies that they most likely will never reach.

If you are 25 years and take steroids to make yourself look better basically what the underlining meaning deep down is you don't think your good enough at your current body type (in your case the guy has a fairly decent body type) and most likely you want to get bigger to attract more girls, get more attention, or have respect.

So no, I wouldn't recommend steroids to someone like that, its a vicious cycle try to stay away and workout naturally. Now I can see why people who are involved in careers or want to compete would turn to it thats different. You don't need to be ripped and toned to the max with 20 inch arms to get girls or fit in society.

My 2 cents on the matter and in something I have experience in since I suffer from muscle dysmorphia greatly.

This sounds like a form of psychological manipulation do to anxiety of saving face.

First, I would say, YOU need to research the compounds or anything in regards to steroids. Second; never say it’s for a friend, because if it really was, he would have taken the initiative to find out for himself. Third, why is it so important for you to post for him when it’s his life.

DING DID I HIT THE SPOT!!!!

I think it's simple. If you have to ask the answer is NO. This is something you have to have made a decision to do, not just Hmm should I? It took me years before I decided to make the jump and a LOT of research. I was sure I was ready before I did it but wanted to for years first.

No juice for you. Or your friend, or whoever it is we're talking about. Anyone can look better if they watch their diet and exercise. You don't need juice for that.
