    how importanty are carbs and calories?

    i am struggling to get carbs and calories into my diet and i was hoping someone can point me in the general direction of where to add carbs.
    i can get loads of protein.

    also i am in an office based job so i dont get a lot of exercise during the day only during workouts

    i am 6ft 3 & 17 stone and my diet roughly is as follows

    9 am - 4 eggs whites and 2 brown toast with low fat spread
    10.30am - whey protein shake
    12.15 - tuna on granary bread with salad and lo fat strawberry milkshake
    3pm - 200g turkey breast
    5pm 200g turkey breast
    6.30pm workout followed by whey protein shake
    8.30pm typical sunday dinner with veg or chicken korma with rice

    what us your goal? to start add have carbs in your meal before you work out and pwo. go for good carb sources like brown rice, sweet potatos oatmeal. stay away from white rice, white bread, milkshakes- regardless of fat free

    my goal is to bulk up shoulders and arms and lose my slightly flabby belly

    will try your advice thanks. any one else got any tips?
