    Separating carbs/fats

Who takes a pro/fat pro/carb approach to structuring their meals? Does anyone still do it? Do you alter your macros to suit this approach? ie, say you have a 40/40/20 split, based on a 3000 calorie diet around 50g of pro, 50g carb, 10g fat per meal with 6 meals a day. If you're splitting meals like this:

    pro/carb
    pro/fat
    pro/carb - PWO
    pro/carb - PPWO
    pro/fat
    pro/fat

you'd have to take around 100g of carbs in each sitting. I could see this working for PWO but each pro/carb meal? Seems like a 50/30/20 split would work better for this... or is carb/fat separation thinking old school?

I used to separate them when bulking, but saw no significant difference in fat gain between taking them together or separating them. So now when bulking I have pro/fat/carbs in every meal.

What constitutes low, what constitutes high?

For me low carbs in 150 or less, I know that's not low for a lot of people but I respond better with carbs in my system. On the high end 400 grams a day but when at that amount I keep my fat intake below 40 grams for the day.

For cutting I have ran Keto for the last few years so its really not an issue. However my bulking diet is pretty much the same diet as my keto diet, I just add carbs to each meal.
