    micronized any better?

I'm sure this question has come up a million times, but based on a quick search I didn't really see anything. Anyways, I've always wondered, is there really any advantages to micronized creatine over standard monohydrate?

yea, to make a long answer short, micronized creatine won't make you bloat or give you any stomach issues. where as the old/other creatine mono's most likely will. also, its easier to absorb.

Short answer: yes, more surface area=greater absorption

See that's what I always thought, but then I remember reading an article that said once you mix mono in water is all gets dissolved and can't get any smaller from there so mono and micronized are both equal according to this article..

Just looked and can't find it. That was only one article though and if I remember correctly was more of an opinion than an actual study.

Again, also what i though. I always mix mine with dextrose and whey so you cant really see it anyways, but years ago I used to try it with water and it never did dissolve one bit. Was more of a suspension. Maybe the author meant in the stomach acid? Either way I'll pick up some micronized now that I'm out of mono.
