    Exclamation ***Reporting Bad Posts***

    At the top right corner of each post there is a feature that enables everyone to report a bad post. This is a huge board that's ever so quickly growing by the minute. If anyone observes a post that either contains a UGL, source, flaming etc. PLEASE report it. It will only make this a better, long lasting board.

    With over 50k+ members it gets very difficult for the minimal amount of MODS to be able to catch up on every move. When someone reports a bad post is gets forwarded to MODS. They can then go and take care of what needs to be done from editing a thread to even banning someone. The more people that participate in reporting a post the more efficient and smoother this board will run. The last thing we (every member) needs is sourcing and flaming. Let's keep this board going as the best on the net by all working together.

    I"m telling you not too many even know this is a feature on every thread. It really makes a huge difference when people report these. I have gotten about a dozen bad posts in the past few days and it allows us to take care of them.

    Someone listed a site about 2 weeks ago. It was only up for less then 10 minutes. Now for the past 2 weeks I have gotten 4 or 5 source checks on it . People will do anything for a source, good thing I dont have any.

    reporting bad posts works quick. years ago when I was a member, i used the feature because for an assinign response i got from a member here and one of the mods took care of it for me

    If everyone reported posts they thought were "idiotic" you'd get hundreds per day reported.

    This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts............i would add ugl posting and source posting........idiotic does not need to be added.........we would never get away from the emails otherwise........................

    Yup, I'd say that covered it .

    If everyone who had a probelm with another member reported the post we would be bombarded. If its breaking the rules and needs to be taken care of them it should be reported.

    Idiotic definitely does not need to be reported.
