But the thing is I have not bitten it for months now and yet it has not subsided at all. Its not painful at all, and has almost no discoloration of any sort, it basically looks like a perfectly normal part of the inside of my lip but puffy in a oval shape. If it hasn't gone away for months now without any reoccurancs of me biting it any more is it ever going to go away or would a surgical procedure need to be done? It bothers me for a few reasons being that its a nuisance in my mouth and can become a target of accidentally biting it again at some point and because it disfigures me slightly in that if I smile or have my mouth open just a little you can see it, like a cold sore that wont ever go away but can be hidden as long as I don't open my mouth.
