    Nerve Pinched (AGAIN!)

Well bros, back in 2002 I pinched a nerve at my C5 vertebra that caused numbness down my RIGHT arm. I worked through it and with physio and time it heeled. I was back in form and in December 2007 I was the biggest, baddest, strongest version of myself ever: 248 lbs and about 12-13% BF and strong. Then, doing shoulders on Dec 21, 2007 I re-pinched the nerve. More physio and some A.R.T. and I was back in no time. Then in August 2008, reinjured it. No sooner had I recovered when I went to the gym and had a funny sore spot on my back between my spine and my left scapula.

That day at work I leaned over to use my laptop and my LEFT arm went numb almost instantly. Stood up and it went back to normal. Nerve pinch at C6/7 they think.

Now I am back in physio and hoping things work out. This sucks. I lost so much mass through these retarded injuries it is not even funny. It is depressing.

Anyone have any tips on recovering from nerve injuries at the neck?

I feel bad for you. That kind of stuff sucks big time! I had injuries before but not like this and by the way things look it might always be there no matter what. All my best to you. Is there anyway you can continue to train different areas? Or if you have a kid help him out in the proper ways of training and working out. Bring your legacy down to the younglings

I 2nd that 100% BUT try Ice for a couple days first. My last go around with pinched nerve/sciatic I did Ice for 3 days before it let up. I had just gotten some prendisone but never used it. Saving it for another time

BTW, since I pinched or herniated mine (not sure yet, MRI next week) I tried prednisone with no effect. DAMN I was keeping it just for an occasion like this but it didnt help.
