    shoulder becoming unstable

I was doing an overhead tricept dumbell press today, hand seperate. I noticed my left shoulder was having a different, unstable time at keeping my elbow straight. So I dropped the weight. There was no pain, but i felt if i had increased the weight my shoulder wouldent be able to stay stable and i would wrench it for sure. It sucks because my right shoulder is able to maintain stability so my tricept press is much higher, but im afraid to push my left trycept because it feels like my shoulder cant support it. Im about to cycle again and was wondering if i should stay away from that overhead extension motion, or just do it with light weight and perfect form... never had this sensation before, it kinda reminds me of the first time you try dumbells and your arms have that real unsteady feeling, controlling the motion through space.

It probaly has something to do with me wrenching it when i was 16 on an inclined dumbell press, i diddnt dislocated i dont think but i wansnt able to lift for at least two weeks... that was a long time ago... about ten years... and it has been fine since.... idkwtf is going on i just dont want an injury any stablizing pointers?
