    Shins

    Hey fellas...

I was gonna post this in the sports section but figured i could get some more educated responses here.

Every time I put on my football cleats and have them on for more than an hour or 2 i have terrible pain in my shins and basically all over from my knees down. Got a buddy that had the same problem and had a surgery to cut his "facia" (sp?). It let his muscles expand more or something. I sure as hell dont wanna go through that. Just lookin for some good responses. What do you think about insoles or something like that?

    Thanks.

I'm not sure of the dynamics of the shoe and foot ergonomics .

Do you have a old pair you could wear around yard on days off ?

Could it be the limited use of wearing them where you have greater tension ?

What position do you play ?

ya i have an old pair. the trainer told me to wear them mowing and stuff like that. I play rb so its pretty hard to catch the corner at the end of practice when i can barely point my toes to the ground.

whats your stats. when i was playing football i was 17 6'4 314. and alot of us big O line players would get shin splints from our weight and others weight when we would hit. shin splints are a huge problem when it comes to football. ask some players on the team about shin splits or your coach. i know my coach ordered some braces for them they were pretty expensive tho
