    Music download sites

    What sites are people using these days for free music downloads? I had been using Kazaa up til a year ago, then I formated my computer and didn't put it back on. Wanted to see if there was a better one out there. It kinda sucked, lots of spyware and ad pop ups. Can't always get the version of the song you want or it's all messed up and has skips in it. What's the best site to use?

    Azureus is a good tool. It's a torrent prog. www.iso hunt.com for torrents.

    +1 for limewire just look at the file size to make sure its a normal size (4,386kb as opposed to 329k)

    Everytime I try to use Limewire it says I am not connected to the network so my search doesn't bring back any results

    I used limewire on my last computer and it jacked it all up. I just pay for mine now, or have a friend burn me a cd and then I can add thise songs to my itunes

    Limewire is awesome, you just need to know what to download to avoid fakes, spyware, etc. (you learn by experience)

    Demonoid is one of the better torrent sites. Mininova and The Pirate Bay are other really good sites.

    torrents are the way to go in my opinion. and utorrent to download, although there are many download softwares out there

    Do NOT use Limewire. Your asking for virus', worm's, malicious malware and software. Would you hook up with a chick that you knew had the hiv, gonorrhea, herpes, and chlamydia just because you had a condom?

    limewire always has viruses..

    try huntmymusic.com
    they have 928347923 of mp3s and they're so easy to DL right off the website.. without having to download an entire sharing program

    I know this is old, but I need to learn this whole torrents thing.
    Limewire is just ****ing me up left and right. As is Frostwire.


    So, I go to bittornado.com and download it. Then dl torrents from that site, then upload them using mininova.org????

    Is that right?

    mininova and pirate bay, with vuze seems to be working just fine.

    Is there anything I should worry about or be cautious of? Or look for things in-particular?
