I was just wondering which sites or programs you use to log your intake and diet to keep track of calories, protein, carbs, etc..? I have tried the search function but it really didn't produce anything I was looking for.( could have not used the right words? )
I have been trying to read all the labels of the foods I am eating but since I can't afford to have a completely special diet for just myself I have to try and estimate what my wife has cooked for the night or try and remember or find the nutritional facts for the foods at the restaurant. lol
I have seen a few posts here of other people trying to get nutritional values of fast foods, subway, Ben and Jerry's, etc you get the idea.. and have found a site called nutritiondata.com that offers some tools for tracking your diet and also has a pretty descent guide to all sorts of foods be it a single product like an egg where you can choose the size, weight, etc.(example) to a full meal from restaurants or certain brands. It seems to give a very detailed breakdown of every nutritional aspect.
Just wondering if anyone uses this site or if they have a few minutes to check it out to see if it is somewhat accurate? I am really looking for a program that I can use to log my nutritional intake that will have areas to place the amounts of protein and calories, etc. for the day and total at the end of the day.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place or if this info and questions have been beat to death but I couldn't find it on the forum.
Thanks
