Alright so in January of 2009 I was having some serious issues where I had lost ALL my energy, it became a real chore to even do small things. I go to the doctor because everything I was going through, I had read were symptoms of low testosterone levels. So I go to the doctor and he tells me that I'm depressed, and he said my testosterone levels were normal for my age (24) he said my testosterone count was 292. The anti-depressents he put me on actually made me feel depressed, since I ended up gaining a bunch of weight and now I had almost lost the skill to focus (they had some crazy side effects, couldnt even drive anymore).
So I stopped taking those and decided to try another doctor. I took my blood works sheet from the first doctor to my new doctor, and he identified the problem right away. He said that at 24 years old my testosterone levels should be between 700-1000, not 292. So he put me on Testim 1%, which I take once a day at 50 mg each. As soon as I started taking Testim 1% my energy levels came back, I started lifting weights, boxing and doing cardio all again. I had become super energized and am now back to normal.
Here is my question though. I went for a new blood test to see what my levels were at now, just to make sure that the Testim was taking to my body since gels dont work for everybody (in which case he'd switch me to injections). My Testosterone levels were at 2000. I dont understand how this is possible, since everything I read about Testim was that it doesnt work like that. Can someone explain to me what could boost my Testosterone levels that high? Because I dont understand.
