    Burning like hell!!

    Guys!

Need so help here... I've taken a few months off (from routine boxing) to concentrate on bodybuilding/strength training, and I'm ONLY doing boxing now once per week...

BUT, even thu my weight routine is a three day split, with chest, delts in the first part of the week (mon-Tue) given me a minimum of 4-5 days of rest for my shoulders until I hit the boxing on sat or sun, during my heavy bag work my shoulders are KILLING ME! we are talking about burning like razorblades in the my joints! doesn't hurt at first, but 15mins into bag work it starts and keeps hurting regardless of it I'm throwing a strike, just in guard or hands down, the burning only stops after 5-6mins of total rest... I DO work through the pain, but I'm starting to worry that I may injure myself or something? I do not have an previous injures to my rotator cuff or shoulders, they have always been fine, until this...

Anyone else ever have this issue with mixing lifting with boxing?

    All suggestions very welcome!

    Thanks!
    MAXX

erm, how long have you been hitting the gym, if youve just started and gone really heavy then your muscles may just be sore

I've hitting the gym for 15 years, But in the last 4 months by workout intensity is at an all time high (pushing for strength and mass, already gained 15lbs). even thu this is the case, my shoulders are not sore after a 1-2 days after lifting, so I'd hope that they would be ok to box after 4-5 days of rest... could some supplements help this in any way?
